What are cookies: they are small strings of text that are stored in the user’s computer when he visits certain pages on the internet. They are usually classified into technical cookies, statistical cookies and cookies profiling and marketing. The former are needed to ensure the good functioning of the website and the use of certain features, such as log-in (registration); the latter are used to collect and analyze traffic and the use of a website anonymously (these cookies, without identifying the user, allow, for example, to detect if the same user returns to connect at different times; they also allow to monitor the system and improve its performance and usability) Third parties cookies, on the other hand, serve to create a profile of the user, detecting his habits and behavior, mainly for advertising purposes.
The Data Controller is Princivalle Apruzzi Danielli, Professional Association, based in Bologna (Italy), Via santo Stefano 50, tel. +39 (0)510930400, email: info@padlex.com
Purpose of processing and purposes of technical and statistical cookies
The Data Controller hereby informs that on the website www.padlex.com (“Site”) are operating only technical cookies (such as those listed above) necessary to navigate the Site because they allow essential functions such as Recaptcha (to exclude the filling of forms by machines), the validation, the management of a browsing session, the choice of a language.
The technical cookies used on the Site have exclusively the purpose of monitoring sessions and storing specific technical information regarding users who access the servers of the Data Controller that manages the Site. In this context, some operations on the Site could not be performed without the use of cookies, which in such cases are therefore technically necessary.
Statistical cookies (so-called “analytics”) are used to analyze statistically the accesses/ visits to the site and pursue exclusively statistical purposes (and not even profiling or marketing), collect information in aggregate form without the possibility to trace the identification of the individual user. In these cases, since the current legislation requires that analytics cookies are provided to the interested party clear and adequate indication of the simple ways to oppose (opt-out) their installation (including any mechanisms of anonymization of the cookies themselves), we specify that it is possible to disable analytics cookies as follows: open your browser, select the settings menu, click on internet options, open the privacy tab and choose the desired level of blocking cookies. If you want to delete cookies already saved in memory, simply open the security tab and delete the history by checking the box “delete cookies”.
The Site uses the Google Analytics service but there is provision for the intervention to anonymize IPs with the tools offered by Google. See the Google cookie policy for Google Analytics at the following link http:///developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/analyticsjs/cookie-usage and learn more about the method by which Google – third party – uses the data of its users at the https link://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245.
As clarified by the General Provision of the Italian Supervisory Authority on cookies of 8 May 2014 analytics cookies are assimilated to technical cookies when used directly by the website operator to collect information, in aggregate form, the number of users and how they visit the site itself: these are exactly the functions and purposes of processing on this Site.
You can still opt-out by visiting the website http:///tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en by opting out, you can also deny consent and block third-party cookies via plugins for browsers, by searching on Google “block and delete third-party cookies” there are many guides that differ depending on the operating system and browser used.
The Data Controller does not carry out any type of profiling on the activity of its users.
Third party cookies – By visiting a website you can receive cookies from sites managed by other organizations (“third parties”) that may be based in Italy or abroad.
An example in most websites is the presence of Google Maps, and the use of “social plugins” for LinkedIn. These are parts of the visited page generated directly by the aforementioned sites and integrated into the page of the host site. The most common use of social plugins is aimed at sharing content on social networks in order to increase the visitor’s user experience.
